Typical date for the annual Fireman’s Festival held Thursday thru Saturday in Caldwell Square, which is 6 miles from the church.  
 
 
Teams could join the Festival in a variety of ways:
   Provide a diaper changing station
    Provide a float with a Christian theme in 
    the parade later that day
    Provide teams to share their faith     by witnessing, prayer walking,
    by the use of puppets or clowns
 
 
 
Individual and Team Volunteer
Shower  in each bathrooms.
Commercial cooking area in kitchen.
 
Some funds available to assist in projects, contacts within all of the mentioned communities. Are aware of other resources that are available to draw upon in the community.
Maximum size of teams  20-30 sleeping in Sunday School rooms.
The Fireman’s Festival will have various carnival rides, a variety of community organizations manning booths: selling food, drinks and carnival games. Festival is fund raiser for  local Fire Department.

  • Community Surveys - Would like to use this the measure the churches perception in the community and needs that may be useds as outreach points.
  • Backyard Bible Clubs
  • Block Party - Would like to plan a block party toward the end of the summer to in connection with back yard bible clubs and possible use as catapult to re-start awana in the fall.
  • Servant Evangelism- Passing out light bulbs, doing free car washes, and other events that could raise awareness in the community.
  • Youth Ministry- We are going to be in the process of restarting a youth program and any effort on this part would be appreciated

Community Servant Evangelism; Sprts Camps: baseball, basketball, soccer instructions/drills (grades K-5th); Construction projects for community residents: remodels, desk/porch repair, roofs (assist men's ministry in these construction projects).
Need Team volunteers - maximum size 10-12
No housing provided (motels in Cambridge, OH about 7 miles away or Zanesville, OH about 15 miles away), but do have kitchen & showers @ church.  Construction materials may be needed. (specific to project)

July 18-22 this year.  Since we are the Impact Association,
it would be great to get a small team (4-6 people) 
to help us out with recreation for the week of VBS 
and to help go door to door passing out flyers
a week or 2 before.
